The Ghana Prisons Service has adopted a strategic transformative modernization agenda aimed at repositioning the Service as a world class, humane and development-oriented institution using modern corrections structures and tools to establish a technology driven and self-reliant sustainable system.
This new direction focuses on using Rebranding as a tool for driving strategic support to address matters relating to the broad thematic areas with STRATEGIC REAL SOLUTIONS anchored on five core pillars as outlined below:
- Welfare of Staff and Inmates
- Agricultural Mechanization
- Industrialization
- Business and Wealth Creation
