SPECIAL LUNCH MEETING WITH FGBMFI
The Prison Officers’ Training School (POTS), in collaboration with the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International, East Legon Chapter, held a special lunch meeting with officers as part of the Fellowship’s Market Place Outreach Programme on 19th May, 2026.
The programme brought together officers from the Senior Correctional Centre and the Prison Officers’ Training School for a refreshing time of inspiration, fellowship, encouragement, and meaningful conversations over lunch.
Delivering the welcome address, the Commandant of POTS, DDP Isaac K. Abuaku-Ameyaw, warmly received participants and expressed appreciation to the Fellowship for their continued support and mentorship to officers.
The guest speaker, a former Deputy Director-General of the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Mr. Willie Orhin shared valuable life experiences from his childhood, youthful years, professional journey, and retirement. Through his inspiring testimony, he encouraged officers to remain disciplined, focused, hardworking, and guided by strong moral values in both their personal and professional lives.
In his closing remarks, the Commandant introduced the Think Prisons 360° Initiative and highlighted the importance of the PISPES Fund in supporting the welfare and development of officers and inmates. Participants were also introduced to the contribution shortcode *972*1*3100# with the reference “FULL GOSPEL POTS” for donations towards the Fund.
The programme ended successfully with renewed motivation, strengthened fellowship, and a renewed sense of commitment among officers.
