COCA-COLA BOTTLING COMPANY OF GHANA SUPPORTS KPANDO LOCAL PRISON WITH VOCATIONAL TRAINING EQUIPMENT.

The Kpando Local Prison, under the Think Prisons 360 Degrees Initiative, has partnered with the E.M.O Foundation, a Kpando-based non-governmental organisation, to construct an inmates’ vocational workshop aimed at strengthening rehabilitation and skills development.

To equip the newly built facility, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana donated a truckload of vocational training tools and furniture valued at over GH¢100,000.

The donation comprised of equipment for tailoring, electrical and carpentry training . For the tailoring shop, the donation included 8 industrial sewing machines, 1 button sew machine , 1 blind stich machine , 9 instructors chairs, 8 learners seats, 1 formica workboard and 2 industrial irons.

The electrical workshop received 1 instructor’s chair , 6 learners seat, multimeters, 2 sets of screw drivers, 1 formica workboard , soldering kits, drillers, a table and a bench.

The carpentry shop received sets of harmers, chisels,planes, saws, screw drivers, crowbars, 1 instructor chair, 8 learners seats , drillers, formica workboard board, nails, bench and a table.

The items are scheduled to be officially handed over by the company’s Sustainability Manager on 7th July 2026.

The donation is expected to strengthen vocational skills training, enhancing the rehabilitation and successful reintegration of inmates into society.
