IPCA HOLDS GLOBAL PRAYER DAY, LAUNCHES ANKAFUL PRISON CLINIC PROJECT.
The International Prisons Chaplaincy Association (IPCA) held a Global Prayer Day on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at the Fellowship of Grace Assemblies of God, Pedu, praying for inmates, officers and their dependants.
The event also witnessed the launch of the Ankaful Maximum Security Prison Clinic Project, aimed at raising funds to renovate, resource and equip the facility with modern theatre facilities, beds and medical equipment to enhance healthcare delivery while reducing security risks associated with external referrals.
The IPCA Central Region Chairperson, Rev. Dr. Evans Ekanem, reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to supporting inmates’ health, welfare and spiritual growth.
The Regional Commander, DDP. Joseph Asabre, commended IPCA for its continued support and appealed for sustained collaboration.
