PRUDENTIAL BANK DONATES TO GHANA PRISONS SERVICE
Prudential Bank Limited has donated GH¢20,000 to the Ghana Prisons Service to support industrialisation efforts under the Think Prisons 360 Degrees initiative. The presentation took place on Tuesday, 24th February 2026, at the Prisons Headquarters in Accra.
The donation is intended to support the construction of a structure to enhance industrial activities within the prisons. A delegation from Prudential Bank, led by Mr. Charles Ofori, Head of Personal Banking, presented the cheque to the Prisons Administration.
The Bank further assured the Service of its readiness to provide financial literacy education for officers and assist in mobilising support for the Think Prisons 360 Degrees initiative by creating opportunities for individuals and organisations to contribute to the initiative beyond Ghana.
On behalf of the Director-General of Prisons, Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (Esq), Dr. Omane Addo expressed appreciation to Prudential Bank for its continued support and assured the Bank that the donation would be used for its intended purpose.
Other dignitaries present were the Director of Prisons in charge of Operations and Facility Management, Mr. Benedict Bob-Dery, and the Director of Prisons in charge of Technical and Legal, Mr. Paul Teye Ademan (Esq).
