THE AOWIN TRADITIONAL AREA GIVES 537.55 ACRES OF LAND TO THE
GHANA PRISONS SERVICE
The Paramount Chief of Aowin Traditional Area, Beyeeman Tano Kwaw Benbuin III, has released a 573.65 acres of land to the Ghana Prisons Service for the construction of an ultra-modern Prison facility.
The Director-General of Prisons, Mr. Isaac Kofi Egyir expressed his profound gratitude to the Chief and people of Aowin and assured him that the land would be used for the intended purpose.
Present at the Paramount chief’s palace were the Director-General of Prisons, Mr. Isaac Kofi Egyir, the Director of Prisons in charge of Services, Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie(Esq), head of Technical at the Prisons Headquarters DDP.Daniel Boi Abbey, the Western Regional Commander DDP. Kwaku Ali Ababio and the Officer in charge of Ankaful Main Camp Prison DDP.Patrick Thomas Seidu.
