GHANA PRISONS PARTAKES IN THE 2023 NATIONAL BIBLE READING BY THE CHURCH OF PENTECOST
The Church of Pentecost in collaboration with the Ghana Bible Society and Local council of churches yesterday Sunday 29th January 2023, officially Launched it’s annual National Bible Reading at their headquarters, (Sophia McKeown Temple) in La-Accra.
The launch which was held under the theme “God’s unchanging word: Hope for all.” was chaired by the International Missions Director of the church of Pentecost, Apostle Emmanuel Agyemang Bekoe. He was assisted by the Director of the Pentecost Men’s Ministry , and Executive Council Member, Apostle Vincent Anane Denteh.
The event welcomed Reverend ministers, heads of security services, politicians and some traditional leaders. They included Chief of Defense staff, Vice Admiral Seth Amoama; Director of Prisons in charge of Technical, Dr. Francis Omane -Addo (Represented the Director General of Prisons); Member of Parliament for TROBU Constituency, Hon. Moses Anim; the Chief Executive Officer of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Elizabeth Naa Kwatsoe Tawiah Sackey; Director General of Ghana Atomic Energy Commission, Professor Samuel Boakye-Dampare; and some senior officers from the Ghana National Fire Service.
