MEDIA GENERAL CELEBRATES EASTER WITH JUVENILES OF THE SENIOR CORRECTIONAL CENTER
3Fm yesterday, the 10th of March 2023 celebrated the easter holiday with the juveniles of the Senior Correctional Center (SCC) in Accra.
The fun packed celebration organized by 3FM under the new corporate social responsibility initiative dubbed “Power of 3” was to help put smiles on the faces of the juveniles at the center. The day was filled with activities like health screening, aerobics, football match, dancing competition, drama on the resurrection of Jesus Christ ,free style rap and sack racing. Hip life duo Dope Nation, Bogo Blay and gospel sensation KingsKid thrilled the audience to their hit songs.
3FM in partnership with 3 Foundation made a cash donation to the center through the support and contributions of their cherished listeners.
A set of jersey and hand sanitizers were also donated to the center. The officer in charge of the Senior Correctional Center (SCC) expressed her profound gratitude to Media General and all well-meaning Ghanaians who contributed to make the Easter Monday a memorable one for the juveniles at the center.
The occasion was attended by senior officers from the Prisons Headquarters, Senior Correctional Center (SCC) and staff of Media General.
