SECOND CLASS OFFICER WINS GOLD MEDAL AT THE WEST AFRICAN JUDO CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
Second Class Officer (2CO) Frank Tekpor, a member of the Ghana National Judo Team has won a gold medal in the Middleweight Division of the just ended West African Judo Club Championship held in Togo.
The Championship which was organised by the Lions Judo Club in Togo began from the 8th to the 10th of April, 2023 with competitions in the Lightweight, Middleweight and Heavyweight divisions.
Judo Clubs from neighboring West African states including Nigeria, Ghana and Cote D’Ivoire joined host nation Togo for the three (3) days exposure Championship.
Team Ghana was ranked 1st place after the Championship, winning 11 gold medals and 2 bronze medals.
