BIBLE SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY FOR INMATES – NSAWAM FEMALE PRISON
The Nsawam Female Prison in collaboration with Safe Haven Rehabilitation Centre and Christ Embassy organized a Bible School Graduation Ceremony for inmates who successfully completed their theological studies on 21st March, 2026. The programme was aimed at promoting spiritual growth and moral reformation among inmates as part of rehabilitation process under the Think Prisons 360 Initiative.
A total of ninety-nine/99 inmates successfully graduated from the programme. Fifty-three/53 of the graduates were awarded with Foundation School Certificates, twenty-three/23 were awarded with Diploma Certificate of International Discipleship and twenty-three/23 were awarded with Certificates of International Discipleship.
Rev. Dr. Odartey Mills of Safe Haven and Dcn. Joyce Hommey of Christ Embassy encouraged the graduates to uphold the values and teachings acquired through the programme and o serve as positive role models to other inmates.
At the end of the ceremony, a buffet was organized for the inmates. Various meals including jollof rice, kenkey with fried fish and shito were served creating an atmosphere of celebration and fellowship among the inmates.
The programme highlights the commitment of the station in partnership with faith-based organizations to support the reformation and rehabilitation of inmates in line with the objectives of the Think Prisons 360 Degree Initiative.
