GHANA YOUTH GUIDE DONATES TO DAMONGO CAMP PRISON.

The Ghana Youth Guide on Monday, February 23, 2026, donated two 140-liter poly tanks to the Damongo Camp Prison as part of its “Green Park” initiative, aimed at supporting rehabilitation programs within the correctional facility.

This initiative underscores the organization’s commitment to contributing to the rehabilitation and reintegration of inmates into society.

The donation was received by the AG. Officer-In-Charge of the Damongo Camp Prison, Chief SUPT. Siekure A. Amatus, and is expected to enhance the prison’s agricultural activities and provide inmates with skills development opportunities.

The Ghana Youth Guide, led by Executive Director Prince Chentiwuni S.A. Fatawu during the donation, expressed interest in further collaborations and plans to revisit the prison in April, with ongoing efforts to secure additional support for the facility.

This partnership aligns with the Ghana Prisons Service’s reset agenda “THINK PRISON 360 DEGREES”which aims at promoting rehabilitation and providing inmates with opportunities for personal growth and development.

The officers and inmates of the Damongo Camp Prison expressed gratitude for the gesture and look forward to continued collaboration with the Ghana Youth Guide.
