TAMALE CENTRAL PRISON GETS NEW MECHANISED BOREHOLE.

The Mayor of Tamale, Hon. Sulley Salifu, the Second in Command (2IC) at the Tamale Central Prison, Chief Superintendent of Prisons (CSP.) Amatus Siekure together with some executives of the Fatih College Foundation have commissioned a newly constructed mechanized borehole for officers and inmates of the Tamale Central Prison.

Hon. Sulley Salifu mentioned that, the provision of the borehole is to alleviate the challenges faced by the officers and inmates with the availability of constant drinking water and maintenance of personal hygiene in the Prison.

The Principal of the Fatih College Foundation, Mr. Yaseen Saadalddin Hadi explained that, the foundation was established to undertake charity and humanitarian activities to support the needy and less privileged in society.

The Second in Command (2IC) at the Prison facility, CSP. Amatus Siekure on behalf of the Director General of Prisons (DGP), the Regional Commander and staff and inmates of the Tamale Central Prison thanked the Mayor and Fatih College Foundation for the kind gesture and assured that the borehole will be put to good use and maintained well to prolong its use.
