CHURCH OF PENTECOST COMMISSIONS RENOVATED SKILLS TRAINING CENTRE AT KETE KRACHI LOCAL PRISON
The Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Eric Nyamekye has commissioned a renovated Skills Training Centre for inmates at the Kete Krachi Local Prison.
The donation reaffirms the church’s commitment to rehabilitation and social transformation. In his welcome address, the Officer-in-Charge of the Kete Krachi Local Prison, Assistant Director of Prisons (ADP) Emmanuel Nyatuame, expressed profound gratitude to the Church of Pentecost for undertaking the renovation of the facility.
He stated that the skills training centre comprises a Tailoring Unit, Electrical Installation Unit, Satellite Installation Unit, and Counselling Unit to equip inmates with practical vocational skills and life-changing opportunities. He noted it would enhance rehabilitation, reformation, and reintegration, aligning with the Think Prison 360° Initiative, and appealed for families and society to support inmates upon release.
Apostle Dr. Eric Nyamekye offered prayers for the inmates and urged them to embrace personal transformation. The Pentecost University also pledged to assist inmates who complete sentences and wish to further their education. Nana Mprah Besemuna III commended the Church for its generosity, calling the intervention a practical contribution to the Think Prison 360° Initiative.
The facility symbolizes a brighter future, renewed dignity, and the promise of successful reintegration into society.
