PRISONS SERVICE PARTAKES IN MAIDEN EDITION OF CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT GHANA (CISCM) NIGHT AND EXHIBITION

The Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management Ghana yesterday Saturday, the 14th of January,2023 officially launched its annual Awards and Dinner Night with an exhibition and official launching ceremony at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) Headquarters Hall in Accra.


The event which took off with an exhibition session welcomed services and products from the Ghana Prisons Service, The Military and other Ghanaian companies. The launch which was held under the theme ” Local Content Development Drive, the Only Way For Emerging Ghanaian Companies” was chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of the Mac Dan Group of Companies. The Director of Prisons in charge of Services, Mrs. Patience Baffoe – Bonnie (Esq.) who was the first invited guest to give a fraternity speech highlighted the various services and products under the Prisons Commercial Venture.She passionately expressed the quest of the Service to better expand its services and satisfy the needs of its clients.
DOP. Mrs. Patience Baffoe – Bonnie (Esq.) urged all present especially the Military and Police to patronize the Campers drinking water that is packaged in bottles and sachets, canopies and chairs hiring as well as the office food delivery services.


The CISCM Recognition and Awards Night would be an annual event to be held every January to honor outstanding individuals and institutions in supply chain management.


Present at the event were the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP. Dr.Sayibu Gariba, President of CISCM Mr. Richard Obeng Okrah, senior military and police officers, management of Coca Cola Ghana, Universal Merchant Bank, the media and members of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management Ghana.
