UNITED NATIONS OFFICE ON DRUGS AND CRIME (UNODC) DONATES TO PRISONS

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime has donated 10 chairs, 6 metal cabinets, 6 table desk and office stationeries to the Ghana Prisons Service.

The items are to support the works of the selected prison facilities piloting the diagnostic centers. The stations include Ankaful Maximum, Nsawam Medium Security, Nsawam Female and Nsawam camp prisons.

The brief presentation was done at the Prisons Headquarters by the Project Administrator of UNODC Mr. Caleb Agodzo and Sarah Mensah. The Director of Prisons in Charge of Technical, Dr. Francis Omane-Addo received the items on behalf of the Director General of Prisons. DOP Hanson Adu-Awuku, The Director in Charge of Agric, DDP Paul Teye Ademan, ADP Obed Acquaye and DSP Stephen Okai Aboagye were present at the brief presentation.
