COCA-COLA DONATES TO PRISONS SERVICE
The Coca-Cola West Africa Company, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, has donated 4000 cartons of assorted beverages to the Ghana Prisons Service.
Presenting the beverages at the Prisons headquarters, in Accra, the Corporate Affairs Director of the Company, Mr. Bethel Yeboah said the company had recognized the need to support vulnerable groups like prisoners, knowing the very challenges the inmates go through due to the recent economic challenges bedvilling the country.
Receiving the drinks on behalf of the Director-General of Prisons, the Acting Commanding Officer of the Prisons headquarters, DDP. Nathaniel Onyinah Agyemang thanked the company for the gesture and pledged that the items would be put to judicious use to enhance the living conditions of the inmates.
He appealed to individuals, corporate institutions, and organizations to emulate same in order to put smiles on the faces of the inmates.
Present were Mr. Robert Akazaawie (Human Resource Director, WAC) and Mr. Richard Asante-Amoah (Chief Executive, STRAT GROUP).
