PRILAS ENDS AGM WITH DINNER AND SWEARING IN OF NEW EXECUTIVES
The Prisons Ladies Association (PRILAS) of the Ghana Prisons Service ended its Annual General Meeting (AGM) with a dinner on Friday, 19th June 2026, at the VIP Hall of the Prison Officers’ Training School, Roman Ridge.
The dinner followed a day of meetings, policy reviews, and speeches and an election. The Director-General of Prisons, Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie, Esq was present at the dinner. In her speech, she thanked all members for their hard work during the AGM. She urged the ladies to relax, be happy, and enjoy themselves, saying the dinner was a time to celebrate their unity and achievements.
During the dinner, the newly elected PRILAS executives were sworn in. They promised to work hard to advance the mission of the association and improve the welfare of members.
The event was attended by the members of directorate,guests and delegates from all across prisons facilities in the country.
