2C0 RITA NKANSAH BOATENG TO OFFICIATE AT THE WAFU B U-20 WOMEN’S CUP
Second Class Officer (2C0) Rita Nkansah Boateng has been appointed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) as a centre referee for the West African Football Union Zone B Under 20 Women’s Cup of Nations in Kumasi. The tournament which commenced a week ago at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium comprises under 20 female teams from Benin, Cote D’Ivoire, Niger, Nigeria and host nation Ghana.
2C0 Rita Boateng was the centre referee for the game between Nigeria and Niger. Her exceptional performance in the game was recognized by officials from both teams athough Niger lost woefully to the dominant Nigerian team who won by 7 – 0 in the opening game.
2CO. Rita Nkansah Boateng who recently received her FIFA badge will be the 4th official in today’s match where Togo comes up against Nigeria at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
