BREAKING THE CYCLE OF CRIME
The Head of State Award Scheme Wednesday, the 4th of October,2023 launched the maiden adventurous journey and sports as the second phase of “Breaking the Cycle of Crime” project this year at the Senior Correctional Centre in Accra. A cycling competition and volleyball match between students of Accra Academy Senior High School and inmates of the Senior Correctional Center with support from the Ghana Cycling Federation.
Inmates of the Senior Correctional Center emerged victorious in both sporting activities and were awarded respectfully.
In attendance were the Officer-in-Charge of the Senior Correctional Center, DDP. Millicent Owusu, the Executive Director (HOSA) Mr. Peter Akai Anum, Chief Executive Officer(C.E.O) of Labadi Beach Hotel, Mr. David Eduaful, the Secretary General of Ghana Cycling Federation, and some ambassadors of the Head of State Award Scheme.
