JUVENILES OF THE SENIOR CORRECTIONAL CENTRE PAY EDUCATIONAL VISIT TO PARLIAMENT HOUSE
Pupils of the Reformer’s Junior High School at the Senior Correctional Centre yesterday,November 21, 2023 visited the Parliament House where they had the opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience a parliamentary sitting session.
They had meaningful and educative interactive sessions with some Members of Parliament namely; Hon. Lydia Alhassan, MP for Ayawaso West Wagon, Hon. John Osei Frimpong, MP for Abirem Constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe, MP for Affia Constituency in the Western Region and Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, MP for Tamale South Constituency.
They encouraged the juveniles, admonishing them to never relent on their dreams and aspirations that it is still very possible.
They were advised to refrain from their old ways and take their reformative processes seriously in order to secure a good future for themselves.“Life is how you make it. What happens to you in life are lessons for yourself and others” they were told.
Hon. Lydia Alhassan assured the juveniles to support their healthcare after a plea was made to her.
