PRISONS SERVICE WINS AHOMA NSIA SEASON 2

The Ghana Prisons Service Dance Band was crowned the Winners of the Security Services Reality Band Show dubbed Ahoma Nsia Season 2, organised by 7DSTV.

The weekly reality television show exhibited live band performances from the Prisons Service, Military, Police, Fire Service and Immigration Service Bands in various music genres including Highlife, Gospel, Reggae and Afrobeats.

After three(3) months of thrilling live band music, skillful play of musical instruments, lyrical dexterity, voice control and audience appeal, live studio audience and viewers of the show massively voted for the best band with judges also scoring convincingly to crown the Prisons Service Dance Band as the Winners of Ahoma Nsia Security Services Band Show Season 2.

Prisons Band placed 2nd last year with wonderful performances throughout the show and this year, the band was unstopple from the day 1 of the reality show.

Present at the grand finale were the Director of Prisons in charge of Operations, DOP. Benedict Bob- Dery, Director in charge of Agric, Ali Kwaku Ababio, Director in charge of Service/Prison Business, DOP. Francis Selorm Hagbe and the Commanding Officer of Prisons headquarters, DDP. Edward Ashun.

The rest were some senior and junior officers from the Prisons headquarters.
